Anniken was appointed Festival Composer for the Egil Hovland Festival in Fredrikstad. As well as contributing existing compositions to the programme, which includes “I NOMOS” (for piano), songs from the new musical “DESTINY”, Corinthians 13 (choir, organ, percussion), Four Reasons (String Quartet), My Son (organ), The Nightingale (violin, violincello, piano). She will also compose a new piece based on the famous poem, Desiderata, by Max Ehrmann (choir, strings, saxophone, organ and joik). Performance of Desiderata will take place during the festival, which runs between 18.th and 27.th of October 2019.
